Railway Days
September 28-29
9:30am-5:00pm
Celebrate Western Canada’s Railway History.
Calling all railway enthusiasts big and small–join us for two days of train facts and fun!
Start your day off with a free pancake breakfast! The first 500 guests to arrive between 9:30 -10:30 a.m. will be treated to Heritage Park’s complimentary pancake breakfast served hot off the grill in Gunn’s Dairy Barn, with regular paid admission.
Enjoy a tour inside the cab of a steam engine, see our roundhouse turntable in action and don't miss the model train layouts and vendors.
Take an exclusive caboose ride, watch our double-headed steam engine as takes on water and circles the Park.
On Sunday at 2pm, the always-popular Train Pull Competition returns with members of the Canadian Pacific Police Service and the Special Olympics competing to pull Heritage Park’s massive 85 tonne steam engine 30 feet.
