AMA School Safety Patrol Appreciation Day Picnic at Heritage Park

On Monday, June 8 and Tuesday, June 9, 2026, Heritage Park will host the AMA School Safety Patrol Appreciation Day Picnic. If you’re planning to visit the Park on these days, please note the following important information:

• Expect delays as approximately 90 buses full of up to 3,200 school children will come and go from the Park each day.
• The steam train and midway rides will close from 11:15 am – 12 pm.
• The Montefiore Institute will be closed on both days due to increased noise levels.
• There will be less parking available than usual on both days.
