Curiosities and Oddities Walking Tour

Event Description

Calgary Walking Tour Where the Strange Side of History Comes to Life!

Think you know history? Think again.

Were women really tied to railway tracks by villains? Why do weathervanes feature roosters? And was it really the gun that won the Wild West?

On the Curiosities and Oddities Walking Tour, you’ll explore the strangest corners of Heritage Park on a 1.5-hour guided walk. Starting at the Engineered Air Gazebo, you’ll visit places like the Prince House, Wing Chong Laundry, and Gledhill’s Pharmacy—each one packed with bizarre facts, hidden tales, and curious relics.

From medical marvels to frontier myths, every stop offers a quirky twist from the past.

Strange stories. Fascinating facts. Unforgettable fun.
