Event Description

Wrap up Summer with a Relaxing Labour Day Tea at the Famous 5 Centre of Canadian Women!

Treat yourself to a delicious afternoon featuring finger sandwiches, sweet pastries and classic scones—served with your choice of tea or lemonade. It’s the perfect way to enjoy the long weekend with family and friends.

After tea, wander through the Historical Village at your own pace. Peek inside heritage buildings, chat with costumed interpreters and soak in the final days of summer. Be sure to stop by the shops and use your exclusive Haskayne Mercantile Block shopping coupon—it’s all part of your ticket!

Labour Day Afternoon Tea at Heritage Park in Calgary

Know Before You Go

  • Important Seating Information

    When selecting your seats, tables may already have partial bookings. If you reserve a seat at a table that has existing reservations, our Guest Services team may contact you to adjust your seating arrangement. In some cases, your booking may be modified or cancelled to ensure appropriate table groupings and the best possible guest experience.

  • Event Access

    • On arrival, please park in one of the main lots at the front of the Park.
    • Proceed to the main admission gates and present your Thanksgiving Tea booking confirmation.
    • Then, walk up the promenade to the Famous 5 Centre of Canadian Women., located on the right hand-side, just before Midnapore Station.
  • Parking

    Paid parking is available in Heritage Park’s front lots. 90 minute complimentary parking is available. The Park Plus zone number is 8320.  Learn More About Parking Here.

  • Dietary Accommodations

    When making your reservation, please let our guests services team know about any dietary restrictions you’ll need accommodated.

  • Inclement Weather Plan

    In the event of inclement weather, the tea will be moved indoors.

  • Refund Policy & Ticket Information

    All reservations are final sale and non-refundable. Tickets must be purchased in advance—no door sales available. As seating is limited, we recommend that you book early to secure your spot and preferred time.

  • Holiday Monday Tea Menus

    Please note that tea menus may vary between our Sunday Afternoon Teas and our Holiday Monday Teas.
