Ho, ho, ho! Are you ready for a festive feast? Calgarian’s favourite holiday tradition, Once Upon a Christmas Breakfast Buffet, is back and bursting with holiday cheer and flavour!
Gather with loved ones and cozy up in the historic charm of the Wainwright Hotel or Gunn’s Dairy Barn. Enjoy a delicious buffet selection of fresh pastries from the Alberta Bakery, fluffy buttermilk pancakes, Belgian Waffles, farm-fresh scrambled eggs and all your breakfast favourites. Afterward, step into the Historical Village’s winter wonderland and discover the magic of Once Upon a Christmas throughout the Park.
For generations, Calgarian families have made this festive breakfast a part of their holiday celebrations. Whether it’s your first time or part of your annual tradition, it’s a warm, welcoming way to begin a day of Christmas fun at the Park and embrace the holiday spirit.

When guests arrive at the Park, they can proceed to the front gates of the Park. Guests should have their breakfast buffet receipt ready at the gate. Non-members can either redeem their 30% off Once Upon a Christmas admission online in advance, or can redeem it by purchasing Once Upon a Christmas tickets at the gate. As a Non-Member, if you have already purchased your Once Upon a Christmas tickets in advance, please have your ticket ready to show our staff. If you haven’t, you can purchase your ticket at the front gate. Annual members get free admission to Once Upon A Christmas. Once your ticket is scanned, you will be granted access into the Historical Village. From there, guests can proceed to either the Wainwright Hotel or Gunn’s Dairy Barn. Guests will then show their breakfast buffet receipt at the door of the venue to gain access to the breakfast buffet.
Non-members who reserve seats for the Once Upon a Christmas Breakfast Buffet receive 30% off regular Once Upon a Christmas admission for the same day as their breakfast reservation.

Both the Wainwright Hotel and Gunn’s Dairy Barn have wheelchair ramps to access the building.
If you require one or more highchairs or booster seats, please inform Guest Services at the time of your reservation.
