Rooted in a timeless connection to the earth, the Owl Dance was bestowed to the Blackfoot from nature, as it exemplified celebration and courtship. Though these traditions were suppressed in the colonial era, the Owl Dance evolved through resilience, as they integrated the movements of the Waltz. Experience the thrill of competition as dancers will compete for prizes, followed by an open invitation for guests to join the circle.
