In celebration of the labour and skills that built Alberta and Calgary into the vibrant province and city it is today come visit Heritage Park and experience first hand the historic trades and skills that built this city! From textiles to metal, there is something for everyone to see and learn.

Head over to the Sawmill located in the Settlement area to try your hand at sawing a log in two by using historic methods.
Stop by and say hi to Tara Klager, A first-generation, non-knitting shepherd with a strong commitment to land stewardship and conservation.
Learn about the simple, but far from easy, art and skill of wood carving!
Enjoy the brisk bush strokes of Taha, a talented artist trained in fine arts, specializing in academic-style drawing and portraiture, bringing faces to life with classic techniques.
Marshall Iles has shod his fair share of celebrities, so come say hi as he showcases his skills with some of the toughest clients around (our horses).
Craftsman and leather worker Jon Gregorys shows the fine art of crafting belts and other historical leather goods.
Once guests have arrived to the Park, they can go to the front gates of the Historical Village. If guests have already purchased tickets online on Showpass, please present your Showpass ticket to our gate staff for admission to the Village. If you want to purchase walk-up tickets, you can do so at the box office, located at the front gates, before entering the Village. If you’re an Annual Member or Heritage Club Member, please present your Membership card to our gate staff for entry to the Village.
Paid parking is available in Heritage Park’s front lots. The Park Plus Zone number of the front lots is 8320. Click here for more information.
