Press Release: Discover the Magic of the Holidays at Heritage Park’s Once Upon A Christmas

Heritage Park invites everyone to step into a winter wonderland this holiday season with Once Upon A Christmas, Calgary’s beloved family-friendly holiday event. Running Saturdays and Sundays from December 7 to 22, 2024, this cherished tradition is the perfect way to capture the spirit of the season.

Guests can enjoy a blend of indoor and outdoor Christmas activities, including:

• Cozy wagon rides

• Carolers and festive live music

• Visits with Santa

• A charming Christmas market

• Beautiful decorations that evoke the warmth of a Hallmark holiday movie

The event also features live music throughout the day, with performances by The Young Canadians, David Morris, and others. From choirs to duos, the musical lineup offers a rich variety of holiday melodies to complement the festive atmosphere.

“This event has become a favourite holiday tradition for many, and we’re excited to bring it back this year,” says Audra Raulyns, Senior Special Events Coordinator at Heritage Park. “With everything from live music and private carriage rides to a kids-only market and over 70 vendors, there’s plenty for everyone to enjoy and make the most of the season.”
