Press Release: Heritage Park Roadshow: A Historic Easter Weekend of Antiques, Auctions, and Family Fun

Heritage Park invites everyone to a fun-filled Easter weekend at the Heritage Park Roadshow from April 18-20, 2025! This new event brings rare antiques, live auctions, expert appraisals, and fun for the whole family.

From 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day, visitors can explore vintage treasures, get their items appraised by experts, and experience the excitement of live auctions hosted by Sheldon Smithens, star of Canadian Pickers.

“The energy of a live auction is like no other, and I can’t wait to bring that to the Heritage Park Roadshow,” added Sheldon Smithens. “Whether you’re a vintage collector or just looking for family fun, this event has something for everyone!”

Family Fun at Its Best

The Heritage Park Roadshow is not just for antique lovers—there’s plenty of family fun to be had! As guests wander through the village, they can keep an eye out for adorable furry friends. Heritage Park’s ranch hands will be walking sheep and goats down Front Street, so visitors are encouraged to wave as they spot them on their adventure.

Young explorers and the young at heart also won’t want to miss Calgary’s Greatest Treasure Hunt. Guests can pick up a treasure hunt checklist at the Front Gate and explore the park to find rare antiques and hidden objects. Completed checklists can be returned for a chance to win a $300 prize—one lucky winner will be drawn each day!
