About the Program
This Program is designed for Teacher’s who are looking to connect student curiosity of the past with the historical experts at Heritage Park. This program is only available in the off season when the Park is not open to the public. The Heritage Park Education Team will collaborate with Educators as we co-design a Guided Living History experience at Heritage Park where students will be immersed in the stories, sites and artifacts of the past by Educational Interpreters and historical experts. We have several sites that support direct teaching opportunities before, during and after students explore the sites.
- This Program is not available between May long weekend and Labour Day weekend.
- The Park is closed to the public during this Program and this Program is intended to be a Guided experience.
- Exploring the Park before or after a school program is not permitted as the Village is closed.
- The program is designed for a maximum of 30 students along with supervisors. Many of the spaces at Heritage Park are impacted by space restrictions. If your class exceeds 30 students please contact the Education Team to discuss if this accommodation can be made.
- There is no additional charge for 1:1 supervision support, or those adults coming to supervise.
- The credit card used for payment will be kept on file until the completion of the program.
- Please contact us for subsidized rates if needed for your school.
