When you arrive at the Park, drive up to the security gates, located next to the clock tower in Heritage Plaza, and check-in with security by telling them your going to Murder at the Park. After you’ve checked in, you can drive into Heritage Park. You’ll then be directed by our security staff to park in front of the Wainwright Hotel. Parking is included in your ticket price. From there, you can enter the hotel and check-in with the friendly hotel staff – please have your proof of purchase at the ready. Once you’ve checked in, our staff will then help you find your table!

• 7:10 p.m. – Entrées arrive and Act Two kicks off. Expect bigger flavours and even bigger secrets.
• 8 p.m. – Dessert is served just in time for the final act. This is when things tend to get messy… dramatically speaking.
• 8:45 p.m. – Time to cast your vote. Submit your best guess for “whodunnit” on your ballot.
• 9:00 p.m. – The big reveal. The winning detective is announced and takes home the prize.
• 9:30 p.m. – Last call at the bar. Raise a final toast to a night of clues, chaos and culinary delights.
• 10 p.m. – Event wraps up. The bar closes and our suspects — and detectives — make their exit.

The McCraws and the Champ DeChapeaus have been locked in a bitter feud for generations. When Priscilla McCraw and Valentine Champ DeChapeau fall in love and plan to elope, tensions explode at a community barn dance hosted by Priscilla’s fiery parent, square dance caller Eustace (or Muriel) McCraw. As the music plays and tempers flare, a gunshot rings out, and Eustace falls dead on the dancefloor. Enter Haversham, a quirky, self-made private investigator who steps in to crack the case—roping the audience into the investigation.

Amid a cast that includes the starry-eyed lovers, a vengeful ex-fiancée, and Sam Silverspring, an overlooked country singer who’s tired of “playing second fiddle,” guests are treated to period folk songs and interactive dancing before being thrust into the whodunit.

With three possible endings—each placing the blame on a different suspect depending on audience input—the mystery unfolds uniquely each night. Whether it’s the lovers, the frustrated musician, or the heartbroken rancher’s wife, the killer will be revealed, apprehended, and the guests left humming a folk tune as justice is served.
