Who decides where the memorial bench or picnic table is placed?

How long does it take?
Once the application has been completed, it takes approximately six weeks to get the bench or table installed in its location.
*Weather permitting, we cannot install them in the winter

How much does it cost to dedicate a bench or table?
It costs $3,000 to sponsor a memorial bench or $5,000 to dedicate a picnic table for 5 years.

Are bench and picnic table dedications tax-deductible?
Yes, tax receipts will be issued for the full donation amount.

How long do they last?
The benches and tables are maintained and cared for by the Park and can be in place for up to 10 years. However, the Park reserves the right to change, move, or replace benches and tables as required by Park operational necessities, health & safety factors, and changing needs of the Park. Every attempt would be made to contact the adopter in any of these situations.

Are bench dedication plaques available?
Each bench or picnic table comes with a commemorative plaque with wording of the donor’s choice.
