2023 Summer Camps Registration Now Open

Send your kids on an educational adventure like no other where they’ll go back in time to experience the life of a pioneer child and discover the fun and history of the west! Heritage Park’s summer camps create wonderful memories for your child and make for a perfect holiday gift! In 2023, we’re offering three summer camps:

Frontier Artists Day Camp: Ages 11-14

Explore Heritage Park through the eyes of a frontier artist.

  • Sketch nature and wildlife at the Bissett Wetlands;
  • Try needle-felting and dyeing using natural materials;
  • Learn the art of Métis beading;
  • Visit an antique printing press and make your own art print;
  • Display your favorite creation at an art exhibition.

Home on the Range Overnight Camp: Ages 12-15

Live like a true pioneer in our overnight camp program.

  • Sleep in the Burns’ Barn bunkhouse;
  • Tour Heritage Park after dark;
  • Cook on a wood-burning stove;
  • Hammer steel at Flett’s Blacksmith Shop;
  • Feed the farm animals;
  • Sing-along at the campfire.

Prairie Explorers Day Camp Ages 6-11

SOLD OUT

At Prairie Explorers Day Camp, campers will:

  • Collect eggs from the hen house;
  • Make ice cream from scratch;
  • Ride a real steam train;
  • Play with old-fashioned toys;
  • Step into the pasture with our ranch animals.
