Heritage Artists Day Camp: Ages 11-14
Explore Heritage Park and history through art and nature activities! Wear a historic costume and experience the life in the early west as an artist.
- Sketch nature and wildlife at the Bissett Wetlands;
- Try needle-felting and dyeing using natural materials;
- Learn the art of Telegraphy
- Visit an antique printing press and make your own art print;
- Take a carriage ride around the town
Home on the Range Overnight Camp: Ages 12-15
Live like a true prairie child in our overnight camp program. You will have so much fun that you won’t want to leave; and for 5 full days you won’t have to! You and your new friends will be immersed in the past from sunrise to sunset…and beyond! Go behind the scenes of Heritage Park in a way few people ever experience.
- Sleep in a 100-year-old bunkhouse
- Explore the Park after dark
- Attend a barn dance with live fiddle music
- Meet and care for our ranch animals
- Sing-along at a campfire
Prairie Explorers Day Camp Ages 6-11
Travel back in time and experience what life was like over 100 years ago! Wear a historic costume and explore Heritage Park through games, activities, and crafts.

- Watch a play in a log opera house
- Meet our farm animals and tour the ranch
