Artisans’ Fair Featuring Festival of Quilts

May 24 & 25, 2025

Join us at Heritage Park’s 2025 Artisans’ Fair, a two-day celebration of creativity, craftsmanship and community! This year, we’re expanding the traditional Festival of Quilts to include a diverse range of handmade goods from local artisans. Day Out With Thomas

May 10-11 & June 7-8, 2025

Day Out With Thomas: The Party Tour is making its way to heritage railways across the country offering an exciting day for the whole family. Enjoy a real train ride with Thomas, live entertainment, photo ops, the exclusive gift shop, and lawn games. Then, head over to the Celebration Station for party-themed games and activities! Afternoon Tea on the Verandah

Sundays and Holiday Mondays July 6 – Sept. 1, 2025

Spend a perfect summer afternoon at Heritage Park with tea on the verandah at the Famous 5 Centre of Canadian Women! Enjoy freshly brewed tea, finger sandwiches and sweet pastries from the Alberta Bakery — all with views of the Rocky Mountain peaks and the water glimmering from the Glenmore Reservoir.

Youth Sleepover Program

Sept. 27, 2024 – June 14, 2025

Heritage Park invites you to step back in time and spend the night in the historic Burns Barn! In the evening, let our educational Interpreters guide your group through several hands-on and engaging activities, like making ice cream the old-fashioned way! When it’s time for bed, your group will “hit the hay” in one of our twenty-two bunks. In the morning, enjoy a continental breakfast, an interactive scavenger hunt in our historical village, and free time to explore exhibits in Gasoline Alley Museum. Your youth group will love spending the night in this unique setting!
