Experience Heritage Park all year-round. The Historical Village is open from May to October and there are special events and activities to enjoy across all seasons.
Heritage Park is a special place and every Calgarian should have the opportunity to enjoy and experience all that it has to offer — and not just in the summer season. We have events and activities happening all year-round!
The Historical Village is open seven days a week beginning May Long Weekend until Labour Day Weekend. After Labour Day until Thanksgiving, the Village is open weekends only.
When the Village is closed for winter, that doesn’t mean the activities stop at Heritage Park. Grab a ticket for a special event like Ghouls’ Night Out or Once Upon a Christmas. Discover one of the world’s largest collections of antique vehicles in Gasoline Alley Museum or indulge in freshly baked Alberta Bakery goodies at the Railway Café.
The Haskayne Mercantile Block, the Selkirk and Harvey’s Confectionery are open for Spring Thaw. The Selkirk and the Haskayne Mercantile Block will be open periodically throughout April and fully open in May. Harvey’s Confectionery will be open in April. - May 18 – Sept. 2: Open daily 10 am – 5 pm
- Sept. 3 – Oct. 14: Open weekends and Thanksgiving Monday only 10 am – 5 pm
- Oct. 15 – May 2025: Only open for special and ticketed events
Gasoline Alley Museum
- Until May 17: Open Tuesday – Sunday 10 am – 4 pm
- May 18 – Sept. 2: Open daily 10 am – 5 pm
- Sept. 3 – Oct. 14: Open daily 10 am – 5 pm
- Oct. 15 – May 2025: Open Tuesday – Sunday 10 am – 4 pm

The Selkirk is open for Spring Thaw for sunday brunch from 9 am - 2pm and lunch from 11 am - 5 pm. The Selkirk is open on May 3, 4, 5, 10 and 11 from 11 am - 7 pm. The Selkirk is open from May 13 - 17 from 11 am - 5 pm for a Heritage Park Member's-only express lunch. The Selkirk is open from May 13 - 17 from 11 am - 5 pm. Starting on May 18, the Selkirk is open daily from 11 am - 9 pm.
