About Gasoline Alley Museum

Return to the golden age of the automobile at Gasoline Alley Museum. Boasting one of the world’s largest public collections of antique vehicles and oil and gas-related artifacts, this expansive three-story museum brings auto history from the turn of the 20th century to the 1950s to life. Immerse yourself in a bustling street scene, enjoy a blast from the past with a display of a vintage drive-in movie, and enjoy some family fun and crafts in the Family Gallery!

Gasoline Alley Museum features Canada’s largest collection of restored gas pumps, and one of the largest collections of restored trucks, on display in the lower showroom. Discover the tales of Alberta’s most notorious whiskey runner, the first car in Alberta, the dirty thirties, and much more. It’s not just for car buffs – it is an exciting pit stop for guests of all ages.

Local businessman Ron Carey generously donated the items to Heritage Park so that they could be put on display for public enjoyment while being properly maintained. The artifacts displayed at the museum date from the turn of the 20th century to the 1950s and include vintage vehicles, unique gasoline pumps, and many products and signage from a host of petroleum companies. Most of the items on display in Gasoline Alley Museum were painstakingly restored by Mr. Carey and his staff.

The Exhibit will have text and images and seating for people to come and reflect on Terry’s run and the legacy that he left for all of those who continue to stand up to cancer, and those trying to find a cure.
