Legacy Giving

Thanks to a $1,500 bequest from Chinese immigrant Jimmy Smith, Calgary’s first General Hospital was established in a rented cottage in October 1890. Heritage Park’s Cottage Hospital stands as a testament to those early pioneers, like Jimmy, who cared about the future of their community. You too can have a lasting legacy; to learn more, email us at plannedgiving@heritagepark.ca or call us at 403.268.8629.
