Antique Car
An uncomfortable, noisy little workhorse, this Buick Model 2-A Express Truck would have been a prestigious addition to any delivery fleet at a time when most businesses still relied on horse-drawn wagons. With a two cylinder engine mounted under the driver’s seat and a small fuel tank tucked in the corner of the box, this chain-driven truck could haul a maximum load of one ton. Despite their limitations, small commercial vehicles helped to pave the way for the heavy haulers of the future.
