About the 1915 Ford Model T
Detroit-area farm boy Henry Ford dreamed of building “a motor car for the great multitude-a car so low in price that no man making a good salary will be unable to own one.” He achieved his dream in 1908 with the launch of the Model T, which was mass produced using large teams of workers on production lines. To save production costs, all cars were available in one colour only – black.
