Antique Car
This rare, little truck saw limited production as the Maxwell Motor Corporation was for the most part a car manufacturing company. Early advertisements induced customers to purchase Maxwells as: “One Maxwell Truck will do the work of three horse teams at an operating cost less than the cost of maintaining one team.” They also dispensed advice: “It is advisable not to drive your truck in crowded streets or congested traffic until you have become thoroughly familiar with its operation”.
