About the 1928 Ford AR Roadster Pickup
This little roadster is a rare, Canadian built early Model A. Fords built in the U.S. had no opening door on the driver’s side! Ford insisted that this door should not open, to prevent drivers from stepping out into traffic. In Canada, however, all Ford roadsters had opening left and right doors. This was to accommodate the fact that some Canadian provinces drove on the right and some on the left, which was true right up to the late 1940s.
