About the 1929 Ford Delivery Van
On the streets of Alberta in the 1930s, passers-by would have seen both motorized delivery vans and horse-drawn buggies doing their rounds. Ford delivery vans like this one were a very popular choice, and affordable too-the Ford Motor Company developed a moving assembly line that allowed it to mass-produce its vehicles and sell them cheaply. Many Albertan businesses were eager to embrace the new era of motorized delivery.
