Antique Car
Hudson automobiles earned the reputation of being speedy, well-built, mid-market cars. After grueling tests on Utah’s Bonneville Salt Flats, the 1940 six cylinder Hudson sedan was certified the AAA economy and endurance winner. New features for that year included independent front suspension, true centre point steering and distinctive styling. With prices starting from $670, Hudson advertising proclaimed “1940 WINNER…NEW HUDSON SIX – MOST AMAZING LOWEST PRICED CAR EVER BUILT.”
