About the 1946 Hudson Super Six Pick-Up Truck
Although primarily a manufacturer of good, affordable cars, the Hudson Motor Car Company also built small trucks. This Hudson Super Six Pick-Up is one of only 1,900 made for the 1946 model year. Built right after the Second World War, this truck was essentially the 1942 Hudson “Big Boy” reissued under a different name. Based on their car production line, the stylish Hudson trucks had all the standard features of their cars, combined with a large cargo box and optional overdrive.
