A century ago when “coal was king”, the Drumheller Valley, Crowsnest Pass, Canmore, the Coal Branch and other mining areas were bustling, boisterous places with dozens of mines and hundreds of residents speaking many languages.
The Coal Mine Office provides guests with insight into the business of coal mining, as well as an overview of the Prospect Ridge area.
