Building/Museum
Open since 2022, Innovation Crossing contains the interactive StorySeeker exhibit as well as “Lessons for the Future,” a collection of immersive displays helping guests to learn about energy, it’s place in our world and what the future of energy transition looks like.
Heritage Park, in partnership with EnergyPhile, is proud to bring a brand new exhibit to Innovation Crossing this year – Heated Histories: Alberta’s Energy Evolution.
The exhibit explores energy transition in Southern Alberta by examining how Albertans, both Indigenous and settlers, have kept themselves warm in the winter and cool in the summer throughout history.
The exhibit reflects on topics within energy transition, such as motivations for change, resistance to change, and what the future of energy looks like. The exhibit will feature solar panels, a video game and the chance to interact with the building’s many innovative energy systems.
