Head on over to Innovation Crossing where you’ll be able to see where our energy sector started and where it is heading. You’ll also be able to check out our “working” coal mine and try your hand at panning for gold.
Learn about veterinary practices
One of our brand-new exhibits this year is the Nanton Livery and Veterinary Practice located in the Village Centre. This exhibit will show you how veterinaries operated in the 1900s and you’ll get to see how much the practice of caring for animals has changed over the past 100 years!

Speaking of caring for animals, Heritage Park is home to nearly 40 animals! We have a wide variety of farm animals at our ranch this year, including goats, pigs, horses, and even some Indian runner ducks! Stop by and check out all of the new animals that we’re hosting this year and you might even be able to catch a glimpse of Bart, our resident donkey!

Did you know that we feature free live music every Wednesday at the Park? Every week you can stop by the plaza and listen to local artists while enjoying the atmosphere, and hopefully the weather, of Heritage Square. And who knows? You might just discover your new favourite artist!
