About the Program
The beauty of the Arctic and the fascinating lives of the Inuit come alive in Arctic Adventure. Through discussion, activities and artifact examination, students will learn how the Inuit survived and thrived in this harsh climate. Students will depart with an understanding and appreciation how geography and resources can shape a community. Some activities take place outside including trying out the snow goggles they made and trying their hand at Inuit games.
Additional Information
- Exploring the Park before or after a school program is not permitted as the Village is closed.
- The program is designed for a maximum of 30 students along with supervisors. Many of the spaces at Heritage Park are impacted by space restrictions. If your class exceeds 30 students please contact the Education Team to discuss if this accommodation can be made.
- There is no additional charge for 1:1 supervision support, or those adults coming to supervise.
- The credit card used for payment will be kept on file until the completion of the program.
- Please contact us for subsidized rates if needed for your school.
