About the Program
The arrival of letters in the mail was always exciting in the days before cells phones and computers. Learn about the history of mail delivery in Western Canada from the arrival of the mail bag on the train to sorting it in the Post Office. Students will learn how to write a letter to Santa or a relative and properly address the envelope. Receiving a stamp, they will mail their missive at our historical post office. Assisting the Post Master or Mistress they will hand deliver letters to various locations around the Park.
