About the Program
Come and explore the many wonders of winter. Discover how animals prepare for winter and observe the signs of the season through a nature walk and scavenger hunt. Learn how First Nations Peoples and the immigrants to the prairies planned for the cold weather and survived a prairie winter. Have some fun playing indoor curling, making maple sugar candy in the snow and creating winter themed crafts. Winter has never been so much fun!

Exploring the Park before or after a school program is NOT permitted. The Village is closed at this time.
Each program is designed for a maximum of 30 students due to space restrictions within the buildings. If you have additional students please call the education team to discuss if this accommodation can be made. The program fee includes 30 students and the adult supervisors within the required ratio. Teachers are included in this ratio. A fee will be charged for any additional students or adults. There is no charge for one-on-one aids. If paying for any additional adults and/or students, no refund will be granted if numbers change the day of the program. The credit card used for payment will be kept on file until the completion of the program.
