Guests can drive into Heritage Park and park in front of the Wainwright Hotel on the night of the event. Parking is included in your ticket price. When you arrive at the Park, drive up to the security gates, located next to the clock tower in Heritage Plaza, and check-in with security.

Dinner will begin around 7 pm. Please arrive at 6 pm to ensure the event runs smoothly.

Arrive to the Wainwright Hotel at 6 pm, grab a cocktail and relax. From 6:30 – 7 pm, you can meet the characters from the show. At 7 pm, the dinner and murder mystery will begin. The murder mystery will end around 9:45 pm.

When you arrive at the Park, drive up to the security gates, located next to the clock tower in Heritage Plaza, and check-in with security by telling them your going to Murder at the Park. After you’ve checked in, you can drive into Heritage Park. You’ll then be directed by our security staff to park in front of the Wainwright Hotel. Parking is included in your ticket price. From there, you can enter the hotel and check-in with the friendly hotel staff – please have your proof of purchase at the ready. Once you’ve checked in, our staff will then help you find your table!

• 6 to 6:30 p.m. – Arrive at the Wainwright Hotel, check in and grab a drink from the cash bar.
• 6:30 p.m. – Head into the dining room and get settled. Keep your eyes open — suspicious behaviour starts early.
• 6:45 to 7 p.m. – The first course is served and the first act begins. Enjoy your meal while the drama starts to simmer.
• 7:10 p.m. – Entrées arrive and Act Two kicks off. Expect bigger flavours and even bigger secrets.
• 8 p.m. – Dessert is served just in time for the final act. This is when things tend to get messy… dramatically speaking.
• 8:45 p.m. – Time to cast your vote. Submit your best guess for “whodunnit” on your ballot.
• 9:00 p.m. – The big reveal. The winning detective is announced and takes home the prize.
• 9:30 p.m. – Last call at the bar. Raise a final toast to a night of clues, chaos and culinary delights.
• 10 p.m. – Event wraps up. The bar closes and our suspects — and detectives — make their exit.

Set in the roaring 1920s at the Wainwright Hotel, A Taste of Death is a comedic murder mystery wrapped in a soda pop taste-testing competition.

Hosted by the retired Mr. Kennedy—who’s deeply in debt to hotel owner Mr. Forester—the event brings three rival soda companies to town: Red Cola, Blue Cola, and the eccentric French chemist Dr. Poivre’s homemade concoctions.

As tensions brew among the quirky cast, including a germaphobic businessman, a sidelined but charismatic Blue Cola representative, a cheerfully anti-soda dentist, and a flamboyant Scottish detective named Cameron, old rivalries and hidden secrets come to the surface.
